Take A Deep Breath



You. 

Yes, I am speaking to you. 

Take a second and take a deep breath. 

Just stop for one minute and think of something that you are grateful for. 

Close your eyes and even if it's only for 30 seconds. 

Walk away and count to 10. Go outside

Take a moment to remind yourself of a victory. 

Remember how far you have come, even when it might feel like you have taken 100 steps backward. 

You’re still here, and THAT is to be celebrated. 

You bring something to the world that no one else does, I’m serious you matter! 

So take a second, know that you are valued, important and seen!!

I have learned an important way to bring yourself back to yourself. It is a technique called How to "Square Breathe". 

OK picture a square; choose a corner. Count to four as you slowly inhale. Count to four as you exhale. 

Reach the next corner on the inhale, leave it on the exhale. Four Corners. 

Four Deep Breaths.

Deep, slow breaths. 

It increases the amount of carbon dioxide in the body, which reduces the panic response. 

Just deep slows breaths.

So I wrote this today to remind you that it's OK to take a break, deep breathe and refocus.

 Now take a second and remind yourself you are loved and are worthy of love.

I believe there is power in a voice, a testimony and a life. Your life is worth fighting for, every piece of it. I want to remind you that there is so much good out there, there is so much to fight for. 

You are not alone. Just take a second and take a deep breath!!
